01 THE BOOK
Team IQ: why your best people don't make your best teams.
The argument, the research behind it, the six pillars and the measurement cycle — written for the person who has to make it happen, not for an academic audience. Read the first three chapters free.
02 WHAT IS IN IT
Six parts, twenty-two chapters, one measurement cycle.
Part one · free
Why capable teams underperform
The MIT and Google findings, what collective intelligence actually is, and why the three obvious levers — process, leadership and hiring — do not move the number.
Part two · free
The value question
How to tell the difference between output and value, and why teams that cannot answer that question cannot be measured.
Part three · free
The measurement cycle
Set, Communicate, Own, Learn, Decide and improve — the five stages and how evidence moves between them.
Parts four to six · with the full edition
The six pillars in practice
One part per pair of pillars, with the fourteen tools, the exercises, and the artefacts each chapter is designed to produce.

04 QUESTIONS
About the book
Who is it written for?
Delivery directors, heads of transformation, PMO leads and COOs in organisations running more than one team. It assumes you have already met Agile and are past being impressed by it.
Is it a sales book?
There is one chapter at the end describing how we work with organisations. The rest stands on its own — the exercises and tools are free to use internally whether or not you ever speak to us.
Does it repeat the website?
It goes further. The site gives you the argument and the scorecard; the book gives you the chapters, the tools and the exercises in full.
When is the print edition available?
We are setting up print on demand now. Register your interest and you will be told first — the digital chapters are available immediately.
